Behind DÓZIS is years of experience and an ongoing family story. The Budapest location became part of that story in 2023, when they took over the Grumpy Monkey Bar and the bakery in nearby Mogyoród that operates behind it. The pastries are not made at an industrial pace. Longer fermentation, proper resting times for the dough and carefully selected ingredients all contribute to croissants, danishes and cruffins that are beautifully crisp on the outside while remaining light and flaky inside. The selection is complemented by sweet croissants, pain au chocolat, Hungarian túrós batyu, danishes, brownies, isler biscuits and various desserts.

The coffee beans are roasted in Gödöllő at their own micro-roastery, and there are always several different profiles to choose from. Alongside coffees with fresher, more citrus-forward notes, the selection also includes deeper, more chocolatey profiles, with a decaf option available as well. The drinks menu also features matcha, iced mango matcha latte and speciality lemonades, including a butterfly pea version.
DÓZIS is also far from static. The selection of pastries, desserts and coffees is constantly evolving, with new flavours arriving alongside each season, meaning every visit can bring something new to discover.
